Our church was founded on the principles of brotherly love and Christian fellowship. And since our inception, we have been serving our community with faith and love, welcoming all who seek a deeper connection with God.
Pastor Dan Rushing has been an integral part of Friendship Baptist Church for over 15 years. He has served as an Associate Pastor, Deacon and led the congregational singing in our services. We are grateful to have him as our pastor since June 2021
Don Williams is a 1972 graduate of Baptist Bible
College, Springfield, MO, and after serving a year of internship In Oklahoma
and another in Alabama, he and his wife became missionaries to France in May,
1974. They retired in January, 2019, and he has been serving as associate
pastor since October, 2021.
Pastor Don Williams is a dedicated and compassionate spiritual leader who has been serving the community since 1972. He holds a degree from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO, and has a wealth of experience in ministry, both within the United States and internationally.
After completing a year of internship in Oklahoma and another in Alabama, Pastor Don and his wife felt called to serve as missionaries in France. They moved there in May 1974 and spent over four decades sharing the Gospel, nurturing relationships, and fostering spiritual growth within the French community. Their commitment to spreading the Word of God led to a profound impact on the lives of many.
In January 2019, Pastor Don and his wife retired from their missionary work and returned to the United States. In October 2021, he took up the mantle of Associate Pastor, where he continues to provide pastoral care, mentorship, and spiritual guidance to his congregation.
Pastor Don’s extensive experience, passion for service, and heart for God have made him a valuable asset to the church and a beloved figure within the community.
